We are pleased to announce that Isis Smalls has been selected as a member of the University of Chicago Athletics Hall of Fame!

Press Release: UChicago Introduces 2023 Athletics Hall of Fame Class

The Hall of Fame was established to recognize and honor the athletic achievements of exceptional student-athletes, coaches, and administrators. Among many achievements, Isis will be honored for being the first UChicago volleyball player to ever earn All-Region and All-American status.

Isis Smalls will be inducted alongside three alumni on Friday, October 13, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.

Within a few minutes of meeting Isis Smalls it’s easy to understand why she was touted as one of Huffington Post’s Top 20 Young Movers and Shakers. From her career as a record-breaking volleyball player at the University of Chicago, to her impacting reign as Miss Houston 2014, to her role as a dedicated 6th Grade Teacher, Isis Smalls is an uncommon inspiration and a dynamic female role model. She performs the National Anthem for professional sports teams like the Houston Rockets and the Houston Astros, but when she is not singing, she’s speaking! She has reached over 7,000 girls as a Youth Empowerment Speaker around the country and hopes to reach more with her Amazon Bestselling book, Beauty in the Making: Learning to Radiate from the Inside Out.
